祭作舍一年一度原創舞台劇《上車耆談》透過劇中一宗離奇命案的發生，帶出六段短篇奇情故事，反映現代人為要置業所面臨的困境，從而反問「上車」何價。究竟我們當下竭力追求的是一幢漂亮房子、還是一個溫暖的家？

How far would you be willing to go to buy your first home? What would you actually need to sacrifice? Having toiled for so long, was it all for a building or a place to call home? When you look back after the mortgage is finally paid off and the prime of your life is past, would you discover that the things you neglected and lost were far more important than a house…?
Sacrificium Society of Production annual original play “Dream Home” will explore the struggles and true cost of modern homeownership through six short stories, all related to one strange death. Are we all striving for a beautiful house or just a warm home?

祭作舍原創廣東話兒童音樂劇《小周處與三大害》
Little Zhou Chu & The Three Villains, Original Scripted Children Musical
周處雖出身世家，但年幼時喪父，與母親相依為命。他自小已體力超群，喜歡騎馬打獵，而且輕狂放蕩，縱情肆慾，惡名昭彰，與山上猛虎及橋下蛟龍被鄉民合稱「三害」。後來浪子回頭，改過自新，變得勵志好學。文武雙全的周處在晉朝時還當了高官，卻因為一絲不苟的嚴明作風得罪皇親國戚，最後被設局帶兵深入敵營，力戰而死。
本劇改篇自民間傳說「周處除三害」，描述主角年青時代棄惡從善的心路歷程, 藉此鼓勵眾人，不論大人或小朋友, 在過犯中都要勇敢承擔和改過，才能在正途上繼續健康成長，活出豐盛人生。
由往年大受歡迎的《女英雄花木蘭》創作班底全力全新打造《小周處與三大害》全劇約長50分鐘，粵語演出，附設英文字幕。除了連場精彩熱鬧的歌舞，及精心製作的戲服和道具，還增加了一些功夫與魔術元素，務必一新觀眾耳目。另外, 為令觀眾席上的小朋友更覺好玩和投入，現場將首度增設互動區，讓一羣小觀眾能夠與表演者有更多互動。所以, 我們特意挑選一個面積較小的場地, 拉近彼此距離，每場只限招待80位觀眾，座滿即止，欲免向隅，訂座從速！

Cantonese Musical Theatre with English subtitles; show length approximately 50 minutes (including all magic and interactive activities).
Although Zhou Chu came from a noble family, he was a young boy co-dependent with his single mom after his father died. He was a physically strong boy, likes to ride horses and enjoys hunting. However, he is selfish, has a harsh temper, and does not have empathy. Together with the tiger on the mountain and the dragon under the bridge, he is collectively known as the "three evils" by the villagers. As the story develops, the prodigal son turns his life around, changed his ways, and became inspirational and studious. Zhou Chu, who has both political and military talents, was a high-ranking official in the Jin Dynasty. But because of his no nonsense and harsh demeanour, he offended the emperor's relatives. In the end, he was set up to lead troops deep into the enemy camp and died in a fierce battle. This drama is adapted from the folklore "Zhou Chu Eliminates Three Evils", describing the protagonist's coming of age journey, turning away from his unfortunate ways and choosing to do good in his youth. It encourages everyone, adults and children alike, to reflect on their lives, correct their mistakes and go back on the right path— leading to a bright future and enriching life. The creative team of last year's popular "Mulan the Heroine" worked hard to create "Little Zhou Chu and the Three Evils", which is about 50 minutes long. It is performed in Cantonese with English subtitles. In addition to lively singing and dancing, as well as elaborate costumes and props, we also added some kung fu and magic elements, which is sure to amaze the audience. In addition, in order to make the children in the audience to be engaged, an interactive area will be set up to allow for more interactions with the performers. We deliberately chose a smaller venue to draw everyone closer to each other. Each performance is limited to 80 spectators, and it is subject to availability. If you want to avoid disappointment, make a reservation as soon as possible!
兒童戲劇工作坊招生: 全新廣東話兒童音樂劇【小周處與三大害】
周處仗着自己武藝高強, 便橫行無忌, 人人都將他與山上猛虎及水中蛟龍, 合稱「三害」。後來, 周處在人慫恿下為鄉民除去猛虎蛟龍, 卻逾期未返, 大家以為三害皆除, 歡喜慶祝。周處回來後得知真相, 十分慚愧, 決心改過自新, 終成就一番事業。
祭作舍繼【女英雄花木蘭】後再度傾力製作全新廣東話兒童音樂劇【小周處與三大害】, 內容改篇自《世說新語》裡《周處除三害》的故事 , 除唱歌, 跳舞, 演戲, 配以精心設計的戲服及佈景道具, 還特別增設魔術元素, 以小劇場形式, 拉近表演者與觀眾的距離, 加強互動性, 極具視聽之娛, 更會帶給大家一次非常好玩的觀劇體驗。
我們創作兒童劇的宗旨, 除了讓這𥚃的下一代有更多機會學習中國人的傳統文化及美德, 多聽多講多用廣東話, 亦希望故事內容對小朋友的生活具適切性, 今次選用《周處除三害》的典故, 嘗試引領他們關注及防避社會上或朋友間的欺凌行為, 學𢤦互相尊重, 彼此接納。兒童戲劇工作, 過程重於結果, 所以在綵排及訓練中, 除了提升小朋友的表演技巧, 亦會讓他們從劇場遊戲中領略本劇的主旨, 發揮互愛互助的精神。

愛情是難以捉摸，有人快樂，有人痛苦；有時火熱，有時冰冷；有時穩定，有時又多變，到底世間的「愛情」為何物？ 美國心理學家 Dr. Robert Jeffrey Sternberg 提出的「愛情三角理論」或許可回答這些問題。 他認為愛情包含三大元素： 親密 (Intimacy)、 激情 (Passion)、 承諾 (Commitment)。你的愛情又能否平衡這三大元素一起走到白頭?
今個星期六《愛情實驗室 A Love Story》和你細說一對情侶由分手到初相識的故事。 男男女女對愛情的執著，對性愛的慾望，對婚姻的定義… 都有著不同的態度。 愛一個人是與他定婚盟，還是給他自由地戀愛？
編劇蕭新泉 Johnny Shiu 為資深學校戲劇導師，前香港教師戲劇會副主席。曾參與香港戲劇匯演，五度獲編劇獎，兩度獲演員獎。 2019年機緣巧合下，JO夢坊首次與蕭sir合作，一起創作黑盒劇場《房間》，以婚姻作主題演出成功，均獲好評。 相信今次《A Love Story》必能一起創造一個愛情實驗劇場，帶來溫馨又刺激的，超現實又夢幻的，男男女女的愛情世界。

疫後的世界, 我們久不久就會聽到某位親友或公眾人物猝死的消息, 逝者之中有不少正值壯年, 甚至是年青人, 令人惋惜, 更讓我們意識到生命是如此脆弱, 死亡與自己的距離其實比想像中還要接近。既然如此, 與其無奈地面對現實, 何不把握機會, 積極地活好每一天; 與其惶恐渡日, 不如趕快拿出勇氣, 全力做好每一件想做未做, 應做未做的事情。 以生面死, 以死悟生。我們怎樣看待「死亡」將直接影響自己人生的方向。而且, 既然死亡必然來臨, 那就讓我們以正面開放的態度來面對它, 理解它, 並從中醒悟人生。
為此, 擴張境界 (MVP Ministry) 與超越想像 (Chiu Creative) 再度𢹂手呈獻, 祭作舍話劇【下一秒… 永恆】由三個短篇單元故事《生死榮辱》《渣男之死》《亡了… 忘不了》合組而成, 內容圍繞三個特別的喪禮, 從籌備到進行的過程中, 帶出三種截然不同的人生觀, 以供觀眾參考與反思。

美國心理學家 John Gottman 在西雅圖愛情實驗室歷經四十多年研究了七百對夫妻的婚姻關係, 從中發現大多數婚姻破裂的規律, 並用「末日四騎士」來隱喻婚姻關係中極具破壞性的消極相處模式, 它們分别對應的是：批評指責, 輕蔑鄙視, 防衞自守和築牆迴避。當夫妻之間發生衝突, 如果總是以習慣性的苛刻開始談話, 他們的消極情緒會肆意蔓延, 引發「末日四騎士」的致命傷害, 令婚姻關係日趨緊張, 甚至岌岌可危。

親子劇場【女英雄花木蘭】
花木蘭女扮男裝, 代父從軍, 征戰多年, 終於成功殺退敵人, 搗破異族的侵略。這位女英雄的故事家喻戶曉, 相關的文字及影視作品不計其數, 版本亦各有不同。本劇同樣以花木蘭的傳奇事跡為藍本, 集連場歌舞及富趣味的劇情, 帶領觀眾重溫一位真英雄的誕生。成長就是要付代價, 讓我們從花木蘭一段成長的心路歷程中找到一點共鳴和領悟。
祭作舍成立二十七年主辦及製作首齣大型古裝親子音樂劇, 大人與小朋友合共三十七人同台演出, 全劇約長75分鐘, 老少咸宜。本劇以粵語演出, 希望引發場內小朋友學習中文的興趣, 推動西方社會華裔的下一代承傳活潑有趣的廣東話文化。

這幾年間, 香港人面對時代急劇變幻, 一場社會運動令許多人與至親關係缺裂, 離散更彷彿成為了日常, 每個人都用自己的方法撐着, 有人為着自身安全, 為了下一代, 為呼吸自由的空氣, 或是為要繼續發聲抗爭, 不惜連根拔起, 移居海外; 亦有人因為不同原因, 無奈坐困愁城, 苦撐待變。然而, 留下來的人還能忍受多久？崩壞了的城市真可在自己有生之年變好？離開了的人, 在新地方仍須應付各種不確定, 又真能夠安居樂業？去或留, 香港人有不同的選擇, 亦各自付上沉重的代價, 甚至為自己的人生帶來遺憾… 今生不回家？還是選擇做個留下來的人? 又或者根本就離不開？
歲月如歌, 歌如歲月, 十二首屬於這一代香港人的流行曲, 串連着幾幕似曾發生過在我們身邊的故事, 記錄了香港人的幸福和痛苦, 快樂與憂傷。
Novasky Immigrant Services Society Vancouver創新天移民服務協會主辦, 祭作舍首度與Dawn of Freedom自由港樂隊合作, 誠意將這個音樂+戲劇的組合送給這𥚃的香港人, 希望大家從不同的角色之中找到共鳴, 從歌曲中得着安慰和力量, 以積極的態度活在當下, 常存盼望, 在黑暗中等待黎明。 這條路上還有大家, 我們並不孤單。

免費網上編劇課程
祭作舍向來積極結集及培訓本地有興趣參予藝術創作及表演的同路人，邁向二十五週年，適逢 Skyline Church 計劃拓展網上外展平台，正籌備一系列廣播劇，所以祭作舍與 Skyline Church 將聯合主辦一個免費網上編劇課程「筆能説的故事」，導師Truman 從事編劇工作接近三十年，課程內容除教授劇本寫作技巧、分享相關經驗及心得、分析廣播劇與舞台劇本的分別，亦會個別跟進學員的作品。
本課程將於 2020 年底啟動，粵語教學，不設旁聽，學員必須完成至少一個短編劇本，題材不限，可選擇以粵語、國語或英語撰寫。有興趣人士歡迎私訊向Truman (604-551-8323) 報名或查詢詳情，待落實上課日期和時間再作個別通知。

導師簡介
龐曉虹 (虹虹)
生長於藝術工作者之家庭。兒時開始演出舞台劇。曾為香港話劇團之兒童演員。畢業於香港演藝學院，學士學位（榮譽）。曾獲成龍獎學金，與及校內「傑出女演員獎」。虹虹於就讀與畢業後之八年期間，為全職自由身藝術工作者及致力於推動劇埸教育。曾參與超過三百多間香港中小學之戲劇巡迴表演及劇場教育。二千年移居美國西雅圖後，虹虹繼續於華人及教會社群推動戲劇藝術。持有美國華盛頓州「肌肉治療師執照」與心理輔導碩士。現為心理精神輔導及基督教𤫊修導師 - Spiritual Director - 也是國際靈性指導者協會之成員。虹虹現正積極探討藝術與身心靈健康之關係。
虹虹：「能夠擁有健康嘅身心靈，本身就係一門學問。而藝術係當中，擔當住一個重要嘅角色。佢（藝術）幫助我哋回歸心靈裏面嘅最真實、得到思維上嘅釋放，同埋增進我哋對人與世界嘅理解，哩D都能夠幫助我哋達致身心靈嘅健康同整全。」

陳立業 (Lambert)，現任聯合國兒童基金會香港委員會總幹事，他在職場上的經歷跟香港這個城市的命運緊緊地連結在一起。九七回歸前，年約不過二十九歲，曾任職香港電訊市場及銷售部總經理的他成功以創新的市場推廣手法推出了大受歡迎的 One2free 品牌，其全港首創由郭富城主演的互動電視廣告更成為一時佳話，獲奬無數。2000年，他轉職躍升為天馬動力營運總裁。翌年，獲邀出任香港旅遊發展局市場推廣總經理，期間參予多個重要項目，如香港迪士尼樂園、幻彩詠香江、昂平 360、及「Q嘜」優質旅遊計劃等。直至 2007 年，他在星展銀行擔任信用卡及私人貸款業務董事總經理... Lambert 憑藉個人的努力和創意，為自己的事業攀上一個又一個的高峯；同時，亦跟香港人共渡每一個風波，面對九七回歸為政治及經濟帶來不穏定的因素，其後樓市大跌讓無數業主陷入負資產的困局、還有沙士肆虐、及大陸人自由行對社會及經濟形態的各種衝撃... 2008 年，更因為金融海嘯被裁，Lambert 頓時墮進人生與事業的低谷，他是如何重建自己的人生？後來，他不但加入謝瑞麟珠寶成為首席營運總監，及後晉升為執行菫事及副行政總裁，更重拾少年時代的夢想，加入福音歌手的行列。他重整後的人生與音樂，又可以帶給我們一個怎樣的信息？

SYNOPSIS:
Narnia (The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe), tells the story of four ordinary children: Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy Pevensie, who have been evacuated to the English countryside from London in 1940 following the outbreak of World War II. They discover a wardrobe in Professor Digory Kirke's house that leads to the magical land of Narnia. The Pevensie children help Aslan, a talking lion, save Narnia from the evil White Witch, who has reigned over the land of Narnia for a century of perpetual winter with no Christmas. The children become kings and queens of this new-found land and establish the Golden Age of Narnia, leaving a legacy to be rediscovered in later books.

何謂毒品？在生理上來説，藥物過度使用對人體造成傷害，即可認定為毒品；根據國際慣例，毒品的定義不包括可直接導致人死亡之劇毒物質，乃特止出於非醫療目的而反覆連續使用、能夠產生成癮性的精神或麻醉藥品。華語國家立法限制視為毒品的藥物，其實有許多並沒有生理上的成癮性，但這並不代表沒有心理上的成癮性，而且在心理上成癮不一定比生理上成癮易於處理。西方醫學、社會學界等亦會把尼古丁和酒精稱為娛樂性使用藥品，菸酒其實同樣有強烈的成癮性，而跟海洛英、古柯䶨、安非他命等差別只是「人為定義的」合法與非法的差別。二零一八年十月十七日，加拿大正式落實大麻合法化法案，成為七大工業國集團中首個可合法生產、銷售及吸食消閒大麻的成員國...
加拿大人眾說紛紜，有些人認為大麻是毒品，所以心痛悪絕；亦有些人認為大麻雖然使用過多有害，但基本上是可以使用的。無論如何，我們都不能忽視大麻對個人、家庭及社會的影響。大麻一旦被合法營鎖及服用，我們的生活將會面對甚麼改變和衝擊？面對這些改變和衝擊，我們又承受得來嗎？
除了道德上的批判，我們還可抱持什麼態度來迎向將來的改變和衝擊？生活在一個高擧民權的國家，事事講求政治正確，每個人的選擇都應該被尊重，有權選擇自己的快樂；但縱慾何價？尋找快樂，又是否可循更健康的途徑？十月二十一日，祭作舍原創舞台劇「大麻城」由多段短篇故事交織而成，無情的現實，無盡的慾望，無知的心，無力掙扎... 消愁解困不靠毒品，仍有一服喜樂的藥方。

司馬超因家族生意失敗，欠下巨債，被逼與老千集團合作，詐騙指腹為婚的馬來西亞富商千金歐陽霏，企圖以婚姻挽救破產危機，無奈因為天生口吃，恐遭嫌棄，兼且個性魯鈍，不善撒謊，老千集團首腦李露媚 (大家姐) 遂改派手下施文冒充超，與同黨汪洋、花拉、張強及陳嬌分別假扮家中的父母、馬姐及花王，裡應外合。
與此同時，霏始終念念不忘夢中情人，好友清霞獻計破壞婚事；而霏另一好友汪霖霖生性貪婪，終日夢想嫁入豪門，亦乘此機會自薦頂替霏，企圖從中得利。三女會否為此墮進老千的陷阱？

為慶祝祭作舍成立二十週年，我們於今年夏天首辦「劇場新地」，以戲會友，並藉此培訓本地劇場新力軍，共同推廣戲劇藝術。一連三個月的工作坊，參加者全情投入，從各種劇場遊戲及練習中，學習演技，體驗演戲的樂趣。
「劇場新地大匯演」乃為這一羣勇於嘗試的學員提供表演園地，讓他們與祭作舍其中一些資深的演員一起演出，實踐所學，並吸收更多臨場經驗。
我們將精選及從新修訂五部滄海遺珠的短劇；【一生一心】、【內有惡太】、【盛女誌】、【政事誘情人】、【愛在迷亂終結時】，加上兩個單人表演，並邀請 Childlike Faith Academy of Music and Theatre 十多位小演員載歌載舞，率先演出明年年度大型音樂劇【Mighty Mo】的部份精彩環節，讓大家先睹為快。

祭作舍二十週年
《愛在當天有個約會》第二十場演出！
為慶祝二十週年，與眾同樂，祭作舍繼舞台劇《重生》後，再度傾全力製作，全新演繹大型懷舊歌舞劇《愛在當天有個約會》。此劇於二零零三年在美國西雅圖首演，其後足跡遍及本地及亞省多個城市，亦曾遠赴美國波特蘭、以至紐約演出，合共十九場的表演，觀眾反應熱烈。這是祭作舍其中一個重要的原創劇目，適逢其會，我們非常榮幸，獲得此劇當年的發起人兼台柱、資深藝人黃愷欣小姐應允復出，率領本地二十多位表演者，為這「二十週年演出特別版」增添更豐富的內容、更多娛樂性，全新故事繼續有笑有淚，配以經典懷舊金曲，將為觀眾奉上一個熱鬧和感動的晚上，絕對不容錯過！

Are you satisfy with your life now? If everything can start again, how would you choose for your second chance?
"Reborn” takes place in a mysterious theatre. One day, a group of unrelated people had been coincidentally invited to attend a drama audition. And later in the rehearsal process, each one gradually turned into another person ⋯ Is it because they are too engaged into their roles, and that they became hypnotized by the play? Their real identities and their characters in the play became confused. How can they face their former and future lives? Had their former selves and identities just “disappeared”? Or had they been “gone disappeared” by another force? Strange things continue to occur….. What is hidden behind the puzzle? Murderous attempts? Or turning points?
There will be two public performances of this SSOP’s 20th anniversary drama “Reborn” on Sunday April 3rd, 2016, at 4:00PM and 7:30PM respectively, at Norman Rothstein Theatre (950 west 41st Avenue, Vancouver). ~Looking for the closest distance in every intimate relationship
Introduction：
Even though a family living under one roof is in close proximity, the distance between them can be so far. Where is the problem? Whose fault is it? Some try again and again to lessen the distance yet some keep a distance on purpose. Not enough love? Or is there too much love? How detached does it take to avoid conflict? How intimate does it take to be satisfied in the relationship? If technology has allowed us to overcome geographical space, then where does the gap between people exist? Is love a natural expression of the family or does it need deliberate nurturing? In the end, if this is the best distance for me to love you, then….
After the previous installment “Too Close To Love”, we sincerely present the brand new chapter of the SSOP “Familia” series, “Distance Won’t Keep Us Apart”: new story, new characters, and an in-depth look at how to get along with family.

The smuggling of milk powder had been running rampant. 《Court of Evidence》was originally produced in 2001 starring a group of popular actors from both the big and small screens. It had toured and evangelized across the US. It was then directed by its original writer with a local cast in Vancouver and had over 20 performances. During this time, it was also performed by actors in Hong Kong.
After more than ten years, 《Court of Evidence: The Second》has returned. While retaining its comedic vibe, the sequel has also been given a contemporary spin by its new plot setting in the Imperial China to reflect the current events. 《Court of Evidence: The Second》and a remake of 《Court of Evidence》will be presented in one showing. You can enjoy both shows for only one price and it will be a performance you do not want to miss!

社會上，沒有人或團體能避免涉及政治，所有政治活動及其後果都深遠地影響着我們每一個人。孫中山先生曾經在他的《三民主義》說過，「政」是眾人的事，「治」是管理，所以管理眾人之事便是「政治」。而「管理」就牽涉到管理所需的「權力」‧‧‧‧按聖經記載，上帝創造人類，並將管理世界的責任交托人類，我們要履行做人的責任，便需要某些基本的權利，即所謂「人權」，才能積極地活出生命的本質‧‧‧‧故此，權力是人生不可或缺的東西；然而，權慾總是令人迷失，極權往往教人的自我不斷膨脹，當一個人攀上權力的高峯，當怎樣自處？當怎樣領導他人？權力應該如何被運用？今日，我們所身處的時代和環境中，有太多人為的災禍和苦難，都直接或間接地反映出人類在權力的運用上出現了問題。
祭作舍原創舞台劇《天下第一權》二零一五年載譽重演，故事以中國八九民運至香港佔中事件為背景，幾位年青人起初本着一份單純的信念，在這廿多年間竭力為達目標，卻在不自覺中捲進了一場又一場權力的遊戲，且越陷越深，不能自拔。本劇嘗試透過描述劇中人在成長歷程中被權力影響底下的掙扎和迷思，與及他們最後在權力鬥爭底下的轉變和犧牲，帶來一點權力運用的反思、並一些用權的法則。

In society, no individual and organization can avoid politics. Every political movement and its aftermath has a lasting impact on every person. Dr. Sun Yat-Sen once said from his "Three Principles of the People", that “politics” is in all things. With people and their affairs there’s “politics”. Thus politics is the management of people and their affairs, and management requires certain "power and authority." According to the bible, God created mankind, and charged them with the task of managing the earth. It is part of our responsibility as being human but we need certain basic rights, "human rights", to actively live out the essence of life. Therefore, "power and rights" is a part of life. However, the thirst for power always leads people astray. They follow totalitarian ideals that teach climbing the ladder of self and increasing personal ego. Once they reached a peak in power, how do they act in their own affairs? How do they lead others? How do they exercise their power? Today, we are living in an era and in a society where most of the suffering in the world is directly or indirectly the consequence of someone abusing their power.
SSOP's production in 2015, with a background story from the Tiananmen square incident in June 1989 to the most current Occupy Central incident in Hong Kong, is a story of a few youths and their simple belief and strive for a cause over these twenty plus years. It speaks of how they, unknowingly, are being rolled into the "power" game and are drawn deeper into it unable to escape. This drama attempts to portray the life and struggles of these individuals as they live under this "power". See how they change and witness what they have sacrificed, how they succumb to individual powers and rights and how they overcome it.
Once the rights of individuals or organizations collides, misunderstandings and conflicts continue to escalade, with no resolution in sight, come see the drama and find out who has the final "Power and Authority"...
